Terms of service
Terms and Conditions:
Under Section 312g(2), no. 1 of the German Civil Code (BGB), the right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for goods that are not prefabricated and whose production depends on an individual choice or specification by the consumer, or that are clearly tailored to the consumer’s personal needs, such as personalized products. As a general rule, there is therefore no right of withdrawal for contracts concluded with us.
1. Scope
The following Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed through our online shop. Our online shop is intended exclusively for consumers.
A consumer is any natural person entering into a legal transaction for purposes predominantly unrelated to their trade, business or profession. A business customer is a natural or legal person or a partnership with legal capacity that, when entering into a legal transaction, acts in the exercise of its trade, business or profession.
2. Contracting party, formation of the contract and correction options
The purchase contract is concluded with Sketchus
By listing products in the online shop, we make a binding offer to conclude a contract for those items. You can initially place our products in your cart without obligation and correct your entries at any time before submitting your binding order, using the correction tools provided and explained during checkout. The contract is formed when you accept the offer for the goods in your cart by clicking the order button. You will receive another confirmation by email immediately after submitting your order.
3. Contract language and storage of the contract text
The language available for concluding the contract is German.
We store the contract text and send you your order details and our Terms and Conditions in text form. For security reasons, the contract text is no longer accessible online.

6. Retention of title
The goods remain our property until paid for in full.
7. Damage in transit
If goods arrive with obvious damage in transit, please report this to the delivery agent as soon as possible and contact us without delay. Failure to report the damage or contact us does not affect your statutory rights or their enforcement, particularly your warranty rights. However, doing so helps us pursue our own claims against the carrier or transport insurer.
8. Statutory warranty and guarantees
Unless expressly agreed otherwise below, statutory liability for defects applies.
For used goods, claims for defects are excluded if the defect occurs more than one year after delivery. Defects that occur within one year of delivery may be asserted within the statutory limitation period of two years from delivery.
The above limitations and shortened periods do not apply to claims for damage caused by us, our legal representatives or agents performing our obligations:
• in the event of injury to life, body or health;
• in the event of intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty or fraudulent concealment;
• in the event of a breach of essential contractual obligations whose fulfillment makes proper performance of the contract possible and on whose observance the other party may regularly rely (cardinal obligations);
• under a guarantee, where agreed; or
• where the German Product Liability Act applies.
Information about any additional guarantees and their exact conditions is available with the relevant product and on dedicated information pages in the online shop.
9. Liability
Our liability is always unlimited for claims for damage caused by us, our legal representatives or agents performing our obligations:
• in the event of injury to life, body or health;
• in the event of intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty;
• under a guarantee, where agreed; or
• where the German Product Liability Act applies.
If we, our legal representatives or agents performing our obligations breach essential contractual obligations through slight negligence—obligations whose fulfillment makes proper performance of the contract possible and on whose observance the other party may regularly rely (cardinal obligations)—liability is limited to the damage foreseeable at the time the contract was concluded and typically expected to occur.
All other claims for damages are excluded.
